Sports Massage in West Los Angeles

Recovery with a game plan. Hands-on work aimed at the muscles you actually use.

Sports massage in West Los Angeles, built for people who actually train, and for everyone whose life trains them. The idea is old (athletes in ancient Greece and Rome got worked on before they competed), but the execution here is modern: targeted, deliberate work on the tissue your sport and your life actually load, so you bounce back faster and move better.

This is not a spa afternoon with whale sounds. We work with intent: warming and mobilizing before events, flushing and settling after them, and untangling the chronic holding patterns in between. Pressure is a conversation, not a contest: deep enough to change something, never so deep you brace against it. You don’t need a race number to qualify: runners, lifters, climbers, weekend warriors, and desk athletes all live here.

What to expect: we talk about your training week and what’s been complaining, then build the session around it. Pace, pressure, and focus areas get matched to where you are in your block. Sessions at West LA Athletics on Centinela, minutes from Santa Monica, Brentwood, and Mar Vista. FSA/HSA eligible.

How often should I get sports massage?

In a hard training block, every 1 to 2 weeks keeps tissue ahead of the load. Maintenance mode, every 3 to 4 weeks. Before a race or event: 2 to 4 days out, lighter and faster; save the deep work for after.

Sports massage vs. deep tissue: which one?

Sports massage is organized around your training calendar; deep tissue is organized around chronic, stubborn tension. If your problem is “my sport,” book this. If your problem is “my body, all the time,” start with deep tissue via IMT, or let the scan decide.

Inside the LASRR Method

On its own, sports massage feels great. Inside the Method, it gets aim: your scan tells us exactly which tissue is overworking, so the hour goes where your pattern needs it, not just where it aches. See how the Method works →
